CANCELLED DUE TO INSUFFIECIENT REGISTRATIONS
This is a trip with a difference. We'll be setting up camp at the Rallywoods Green Hut and Airstrip for the weekend. The Green Hut is a great spot to hang out, shoot the breeze and get to know each other. A range of trips will be set up alongside this one, so you will be able to find something that ticks your offroading boxes, whether it's a Standard 4x4 Akas trip, a Hard Yakka Rallywoods adventure or something else.
You will need to be fully self sufficient (BYO food, drink and shelter). There is no waste disposal on site. You will need to be prepared to take all of your rubbish with you. There are flushing toilets, running water and hot showers (if we remember to bring a gas bottle). The campsite is accessible to motorhomes and regular caravans if you take it easy on reduced tyre pressures. It will be a breeze if you have an offroad camper. The Green Hut also has a communal sleeping platform for those who don't want to camp.
This will be a great opportunity to test your camping setup for the South Island New Year trip.
There are no limits on numbers attending. Come for one night or both. There will be limited times to come in or leave via Totara Park. You will need to indicate your choice when you sign up.
NO PETS. Your 4WD vehicle will need to meet the trip requirements for any trips that you sign up for alongside this trip.
Entry and Exit times at Totara Park Gate are as follows:
- Friday night - 6pm
- Saturday morning - 9am
- Saturday afternoon - 4pm
- Sunday morning - 9am
- Sunday afternoon - 4pm
These times coincide with trip start and finish times.
This trip is open to CCVC members and members of NZFWDA affiliated clubs.
