This is a "Family Shiny" trip into the Akatarawa forest.
Non members are welcome to join us but must register to obtain details of start time and location.
Forest/gravel roads.
4WD vehicles with a low ratio gearbox and reasonable ground clearance with good tyres (at least AT). Not suitable for AWD or 2WD vehicles.
All vehicles must be have a current registration and WOF. All drivers must have a full NZ Driver License.
Club members - bring your VHF club radio if you have one.
BYO food and non-alcoholic beverages.
No pets allowed on this trip.
A day membership fee of $20/vehicle is payable by anyone who is not a member of a NZFWDA affiliated 4WD club.
